2022 NYBPC TRACKS ANNOUNCED

The competition is divided into categories, called tracks, at all levels of competition. Student teams compete within their assigned tracks. This year’s tracks have been announced: Safety, Power & Mobility, Health & Wellbeing, Food, Media, Art & Entertainment, Software & Services and Products & Hardware.

Competitors compete in one of several tracks during the NYBPC competition. Generally, tracks are defined by industry sector (e.g. food and agriculture), business model (e.g. B2B), and/or enabling technologies (e.g. machine learning). Tracks are defined by the NYBPC organizers at the state level and are subject to change at any time during the competition.

Students are assigned tracks based on what is included in their applications, and do not select their own tracks. Competitors identify industry sector(s), business model(s), and/or attributes that apply to their venture and their team in the online application by checking the appropriate boxes.
