The NYBPC provides opportunities for students enrolled in colleges and universities across the state to gain entrepreneurial experience and compete on their ingenuity. Over the past 13 years, the program has had significant impact:
Over $150M+ invested, including follow-on funding for 100+ startups
Hundreds of innovative solutions and patented technologies created
Nearly 50% participation from under-represented students each year
This year, the NYBPC will award over $100k in prize money to winning teams.

2nd Place: $2,000
3rd Place: $1,000
MWBE Award: $1,000
Concept Stage Award: $250
